Family planning awareness drive among couples
A comprehensive public relations campaign is set to be launched in the district with the aim of promoting awareness about family planning. The primary objective of this campaign is to reduce maternal mortality and infant mortality rates through effective family planning practices. As part of this initiative, a couple contact campaign will be conducted from June 15 to 26. During this campaign, Sahiya workers and ANMs will compile a list of eligible married women and make it available to the health center. This will enable the identified eligible individuals to access various family planning services. Moreover, at the village level, efforts will be made to sensitize both eligible women and men, encouraging them to consider availing family planning services. This population stability campaign will run from June 27 to July 31.
