Jamshedpur, June 9: The Jharkhand Pradesh Youth Congress Committee, led by State General Secretary Rakesh Sahu, paid homage to the revered leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his 123rd Martyrdom Day. The commemoration took place at Sakchi Bada Gol Chakkar, where the statue of Dharti Aba Birsa Munda stands.
During the event, Rakesh Sahu emphasized the significant role played by Bhagwan Birsa Munda in securing India’s independence. He acknowledged the invaluable contributions made by Birsa Munda and expressed the belief that his legacy would never be forgotten. Prominent Congress leaders, including Surendra Sharma, Gautam Sahu, Alok Ranjan, Santosh Singh, Sandhya Das, Jai Narayan Munda, Manish Kumar, Santosh Pal, Vinay Sahni, Sumit Sahu, Harsh Gupta, and Lande Singh, were present at the program. Together, they paid their respects to Dharti Aba Birsa Munda on the solemn occasion of his death anniversary. The participants offered prayers and expressed their heartfelt admiration for the brave martyr. The atmosphere was filled with slogans of “Jai Jharkhand,” symbolizing the enduring spirit of the fearless martyrs of Jharkhand
