Tagore Society to host 37th edition at Rabindra Bhawan from Nov 24

Jamshedpur, Nov 1: The 37th Jamshedpur Book Fair, organized by the Tagore Society, will be organized at the Ravindra Bhavan Grounds in Sakchi between November 24 and December 3.

The General Secretary of Tagore Society, Ashis Chowdhury informed that the 2023 edition of Jamshedpur Book Fair will witness the participation of more than 70 publications from across the country. The publications will cover varied subjects and interests written in Hindi, English, Bengali, and other languages. Around 200 stalls will be set up at the fair.

Ashis Chowdhury observed, “The Jamshedpur Book Fair organized by Tagore Society has become like a much-looked-forward-to festive occasion and it has recharged book lovers’ interests and continues to be responsible for the gradual resurgence of book reading inclinations. Last year, people spent nearly Rs One crore on book purchases at this Jamshedpur Book Fair, surpassing the wildest expectations. This indicates that people’s love and enthusiasm for books remain strong even in this digital age.” The Tagore Society General Secretary, Ashis Chowdhury further informed that to enhance people’s interest in books, seminars and debates will be organized. Additionally, food stalls will be set up for the convenience of Fair visitors.
