Jamshedpur, Nov 1: The inaugural ceremony of the 4th annual Jharkhand National Film Festival (JNFF) was held on Wednesday at Karim City College (KCC). The Principal, Karim City College, Dr Md Reyaz welcomed the guests with bouquets. The guests included Puravi Ghosh, Shalini Prasad, Sita Singh, Bipendra Sinha and Mithilesh Kumar.

KCC Principal, Dr Md Reyaz stated that organizing the fourth edition of the Jharkhand National Film Festival in Jamshedpur was a significant milestone. “This festival provides an opportunity for people involved in filmmaking to learn and discover new things, as well as showcase their fresh ideas and creativity.”

Head of the Mass Communication Department at Karim City College, Dr Neha Tiwary mentioned that the Jharkhand National Film Festival (JNFF) will feature films from both India and abroad. Expert discussions on topics related to film production will also be conducted. She added, “Film production is taught as a subject at Karim City College, and the festival serves as a platform for students to showcase their chosen fields of creative art.”

The organizer, Sanjay Uday Sathpathy, stated that the Jharkhand Film Festival’s Prize Night will have renowned Bollywood actress Mandakini as the chief guest, while Jharkhand’s Padma Shri Mukund Nayak will also be present. The award ceremony will be held at the XLRI Auditorium, and it will feature Hollywood actors among its guests.
