Jamshedpur, Dec 6: A bizarre incident put denizens on the edge on Tuesday. Tension ran high among residents of Kadma B Block when they saw blood flowing out of a locked flat that had been allotted to a Tata Steel employee.

Residents of the flat built by Tata Steel for its workers frantically called the police and told them that blood was flowing out from under the door. They expressed apprehensions that some untoward incident might have occurred inside the flat that has been locked out for quite some time now.” They also said that somebody might have been killed inside the empty flat.

A team of Kadma police reached the flat and close on their heels forensic officials also arrived. The cops and the forensic team took all due precautions so that all “evidence could be preserved in the crime scene”. After that, infront of cops and forensic officials, the flat was unlocked. But, the onlookers were in for a surprise. Instead of a crime, they became witnesses to an anti-climax – inside the locked flat, instead of human bodies, the carcasses of some pigeons were found. The blood of these dead pigeons was flowing out from under the main door.

Subsequent police investigations revealed that Tata Steel has allotted the flat to one LL Mukhi. Though Mukhi retired in 2013, the flat is still in his custody as he is yet to hand the flat back to the company.
