Jamshedpur, June 29: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur has set up paper plate making machine for women at Beldih Basti near XLRI on Wednesday.
The club aims make women of the area self reliant, financially stronger and do business from home.
The newly installed machine was inaugurated by Chief Guest District Secretary Alokananda Bakshi.
Club President Vinita Shah said, “This year the goal of Inner Wheel is ‘Stronger women stronger world’, if women are empowered, the world will become strong. Women power in every field whether it is education, health, or employment will help world become much stronger and independent.”
Under the leadership of Premsheela Pandey women including Putul Devi, Sunny Dev, Anisha Devi, Lakshmi Mahanand Poonam, Geeta Santra, Meenu Santra, women will do business.
Suranjan Rai who contributed a lot in making the work a success along with club’s Deepali Dokania, chief guest Alokananda Bakshi informed women how to be successful businesswomen.
Club’s secretary Archana Shekhar, Rekha Jaiswal, Deepa Gandhi, Raksha Makati, Jyoti Bhagat, Rashmi Singh and others were present.
