Jamshedpur: Girl dies during treatment of burn injuries

Jamshedpur, June 29: 10-year-old Somwari Champia, a resident of MGM police station area, received severe burn injuries while cooking at home. She was admitted to MGM Hospital for treatment. She was undergoing treatment since a month but succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday. was scorched in her house while cooking. After the incident, the family members admitted him to MGM Hospital for treatment.

After the incident, the family members said that they could not avail of proper treatment for Somwari due to their poor pecuniary condition. That led them to get the girl admitted to MGM Hospital. According to information, the doctors at the MGM Hospital had advised the girl’s family members to get her admitted to a private hospital for better treatment butdue to the family’s financial constraint, the girl had to be kept at the MGM Hospital.
