Raghubar Das observed that the rapid expansion of Talibani culture in Rajasthan was due to the policy of appeasement that was nothing more than vote-bank politics. He said, “The occurrence of the murder has shaken the entire country but the Rajasthan government has remained mum on the issue. The Congress is stooping to the Jehadi culture with an eye on the vote bank. Unfortunately, this is the main reason for the mushrooming of Talibani elements ho are committing murders in the name of Jehad.” The former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das demanded that the killers should be meted out such punishment that would deter the Taliban fanatics from repeating such offences.
