Gold chain snatched in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 23: Unidentified bike-borne criminals snatched a gold chain from a woman in Telco late Wednesday night, sources said.

The incident reportedly took place around 8 pm when the wife of Tata Motors employee Praveen Mishra was on her way home through the road linking Telco Stadium to Bhuvneshwari Mandir.

The woman shouted for help at the isolated road but to no avail. The looter easily escaped from the scene. Later police ran a search for the accused on getting the complaint. The officer in-charge of Telco police station said he had not received the written complaint from the victim.
