Jamshedpur, August 17: The foundation stone for Shri Shivalaya was laid at Sainath Devasthanam temple premises in Ghorabanda on Wednesday.
On the occasion chief priest Rajkumar Mishra performed the rituals in presence of Rajiv Kumar and Nutan Kumari.The event was organized by Sai pariwar vishwa seva sansthan started at 10 am with kalash sthapana, Prithvi pujan, Ganesh ambika pujan, Navgrah pujan which continue till 12 noon. The foundation work started by the devotees.
Later, prasad was distributed among the devotees where locals in large numbers along with people from other parts of the city participated.
The temple committee plans to setup 7 busts of Shivling, Ganpati, Ram Darbar, Bajrang bali, Radha Krishan, Sheranvali and Chitragupt Maharaj.
On the occasion Umesh Prasad Sinha, Ramashray Prasad along with Chairman Rajeev Kumar, President Anup Ranjan, Trustee Nutan Kumari, Rashmi Narayan, Raj Kishore Sahu, M. Durga Rao, Vijay Kumar Singh, Ramlal Pandey, Bheem Karmkar, Sudharshan Mahato, Uday Bhaskar, Chandrashekhar Singh and other members of the mandir committee were present.
