Club officer�s training program of Toastmaster�s International held at XLRI

Jamshedpur, August 17: The Conference of Toastmaster�s International was conducted at XLRI, Jamshedpur on the day of 70th Independence Day.

They had a huge participation and participants included from different clubs of various areas and cities such as Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bhubaneswar and Jamshedpur.

Distinguished guests from Kolkata and Bhubaneswar graced the occasion. The program started at 10am with a welcome note by MOC Dr. Chetna Verma. She introduced all the guests who included Division Director DTM Jeniffer Ghosh, Area Director of H4 and H3, Amrapali Pattanaik and Anirban Bhattacharjee respectively and DTM Ayan Pal and talked about Toastmaster�s International in general and also gave the glimpses of the session.

The later session was addressed by DTM Jeniffer Ghosh who narrated a short story which had the moral that only we can be the answer to all our problems.

Area Director Amrapali Pattanaik and Anirban Bhattacharjee also spiced up the session with their profound words. Later the newly elected executive committee members of different toastmaster�s clubs and the other participants were trained.

The other highlights of the session were Judges Training Workshop by DTM Ayan Pal and �Evaluate to Motivate� session by DTM Jeniffer Ghosh. It also saw the launch of the �Zeal-InSteel� newsletter of In-Steel toastmasters club followed by the launch of debut novel �Confessions on an Island� by a noted writer Ayan Pal.

The program ended with certificate distribution to all the participants followed by a group photograph.

The program gave the participants a platform to meet and talk with the competent communicators and also to interact with the members of other toastmaster�s clubs and was a huge success.
