Chaibasa: Shyamu Charan Tubid, veteran freedom fighter and father of State BJP spokesperson JB Tubid, passed away late on Wednesday night. Shyamu Charan Tubid, 98, was undergoing treatment at Medica Hospital, Ranchi. Shyamu Charan Tubid’s mortal remain were brought to Chaibasa and was kept for public viewing at his Sikrusai village residence. Thousands of people paid homage to the departed soul. His last rites will be performed with state honours at Sikrusai village on Friday morning. Shyama Charan Tubid was a Congress MLA and first ST minister of undivided Bihar.
