Jamshedpur: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Pracharak and regional organization secretary of Hindu Jagran Manch, Dr Suman Kumar on Thursday accused controversial and self-acclaimed social activist Swami Agnivesh of being a supporter of separatism and Naxalism.
In a statement issued today, Kumar said, “Agnivesh is the modern face of separatism and Naxalism. His recent arrival in Jharkhand is not an ordinary incident. He was invited to Jharkhand with the purpose to fuel separatist sentiments and Naxalite activities in urban parts of the state. It was a conspiracy to provide a safe haven to pathalgadi supporters in the Santhal region.”
Kumar alleged that Agnivesh had not informed the state administration about his programme in Jharkhand. He said Agnivesh is an anti-Hinduism atheist with communist inclination. He said the Chhatisgarh government had directed intelligence agencies to keep an eye on the activities of Agnivesh way back in 2011.
The RSS leader further said that Agnivesh had earlier met Naxalites in Dantewada and had also issued statements against the Indian Army. He said Agnivesh was an anti-national element who should not be allowed to succeed in his evil designs.
