Former genl secy ADL Society Jamshedpur alleges fraud in teacher’s recruitment

Jamshedpur, July 20: Former general secretary ADL Society Maji Ravi Kumar clearly said that Y Ishwar Rao is the main culprit for all the controversies in the social and educational institutions of the Telugu society.

 Ravi Kumar made these allegations while talking to the media in a press conference held at Mangal Singh Club in Kadma on Sunday.

He said that Y Ishwar Rao should look into his own conscience before accusing others. Maji Ravikumar said that all the allegations leveled against him are baseless. He raised the question that how many AGMs (Annual General Meetings) and how many audits did Y Ishwar Rao conduct during his 15-year tenure?

Ravi Kumar said that during his tenure, AGMs and audits could not be held due to COVID, but at the same time facilities like online fee system, digital payment, CCTV surveillance and fee concession for Telugu students were started, which are milestones for the institution.

Maji Ravi Kumar made serious allegations and said that the appointment of teachers in Hindi Medium Madhya Vidyalaya recently was done through a completely wrong process. Teachers were selected against the rules by keeping the head of the school out of the recruitment process.

He said that seven teachers were recruited arbitrarily, out of which two were Telugu speaking. But as part of a conspiracy, their educational certificates were declared wrong and sent to the education department and their selection was cancelled. He claimed that this entire matter happened under the supervision of Y Ishwar Rao, and a teacher has also filed a defamation case against him.

Ravi Kumar said that the matter of soil scam is a complete lie. At that time the work had started with the consent of all the members of the committee, but it stopped due to some objections, so how can it be called a scam? Four ACs were purchased and the institution has the full bill for them.

Ravi Kumar said that the auditorium which was proposed during his tenure at a cost of 2.80 crores, the same is now being constructed for 13 crores. Was permission taken from the members for this? He said that Y Eshwar Rao also knows why the affiliation of the organization was canceled.

Maji Ravi Kumar alleged that Y Eshwar Rao only works to create fights and divisions in the Telugu society.

Ravi Kumar said that his team is opposing the AGM for three main reasons:  the current committee was dissolved on 20 November 2022, on June 15, 2025, the election process was started as per the bylaws, which was stopped by Ishwar Rao’s team from the High Court and ehe election process was started on the basis of the report of the investigation committee formed on the instructions of the SDO, which was also stopped by the opposition.
