Gamharia, June 20: A sudden fire broke out in the coal dumping yard of Nilachal Iron and Power Ltd (NIPL) Company at Kandra on Monday afternoon that created an atmosphere of panic. The fire was brought under control. No loss of life or property was reported.
General Manager of the company, GD Bajpai said that excessive heat conditions lead to the fire but prompt action to douse the fire was taken to contain loss of life and property. GD Bajpai said that damage assessment was being conducted.
