Gamharia, June 20: State President of Jharkhand State Fair Price Dealers’ Association (JSFPDA), Omkar Nath has directed all units to hand over a demand letter to the respective BDOs and Cos addressed to the Jharkhand Governor on July 4 by the PDS Associations in the state. The memorandum will seek fulfillment of all pending demands of PDS shop owners that have been kept in abeyance since 2014.
In the meeting of Block PDS operators held on Monday, June 20 at Rajasthan Bhawan in Gamharia, it was resolved that all units of Block PDS dealers were to ensure success of the mass rally to be organized at the district headquarters in Morabadi in Ranchi. Chairing the meeting, President of the District PDS Dealers’ Association, Phulkant Jha informed that after the Ranchi rally, a meeting will be organized in New Delhi on August 2. The meeting, after deep discussions on the organization’s programmes, concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dev Prasad Devta. Those present in the meeting included Ritika Mukhi, Jaipal Yadav, Azad Rajak, Pradeep Thakur, Adhir Mandal, Radheshyam Sonar, Ramesh Pandit along with a large number of JVP shopkeepers and women of self-help groups.
