Jamshedpur, May 23: In a special meeting convened at the Guide International Radio Listeners Club in Kadma-Uliyan, President Chinmoy Mahato led discussions on the significance of voting in the upcoming Jamshedpur Lok Sabha elections. The meeting emphasized the crucial role of exercising voting rights in shaping the democratic process.
Every citizen’s participation in the electoral process was underscored as a fundamental responsibility towards nation-building. With the Lok Sabha elections presenting a platform for citizens to express their collective will, attendees were urged to make informed choices and actively participate in the democratic process.
Recognizing the challenges posed by extreme weather conditions, particularly the scorching heat, the club appealed to the government to ensure necessary arrangements for voters, such as access to drinking water and provision of shaded areas to mitigate the effects of harsh sunlight.
The meeting saw the participation of dedicated members including Subir Kumar Kund, Arindam Sinha, Karibi Sinha, Rekha Mahato, Bhavatosh Rai, PK Das, Meenakshi Jha, Abhijeet Sen, Leena Dutta, among others.
