Jamshedpur, July 3: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West installed its new leadership for the Rotary Year 2026–27 during a grand ceremony held at Hotel Ramada on Friday evening. The event was attended by senior Rotarians, guests, club members and prominent personalities from the city.
The programme began with a safety announcement, the National Anthem and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Senior Rotarian Rajiv Talwar administered the oath of office to newly elected President Rtn. Gurpreet Kaur Bhatia, Secretary Rtn. Rishi Chandrani and the new team of office-bearers and directors.

The club honoured outgoing President Rtn. Ashok Jha and Secretary Rtn. Naman Agarwal with mementos in recognition of their dedicated service. S.K. Behera was inducted as an Honorary Rotarian for his contribution to society, while Vinay Khanna joined the club as a new member.
Assistant Governor Rtn. Pramod Dubey conveyed the District Governor’s message and wished the new team success. In her address, President Gurpreet Kaur Bhatia outlined priorities for the year, including membership growth, youth engagement, women’s empowerment, healthcare initiatives and community service.
The club also released its annual souvenir, unveiled by District Governor Elect Rtn. Mukesh Taneja, who praised the club’s service initiatives and encouraged members to continue working for social welfare under Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.”
