Demand for railway overbridge at Rakha Mines

Jamshedpur: The residents of Jadugora have complained to the divisional rail manager of Kharagpur rail division regarding the poor condition of the railway overbridge at Rakha Mines railway station and demanded construction of a new oerbridge.

They alleged that the continuing neglect by the railway authorities concerned had led the situation to worsen in the last several years.

Hence the authorities should take timely action to cure the situation and build a railway overbridge to prevent any mishap.

A local social activist Mohan Das said the construction of the over-bridge had been carried out with sub-standard building material.

Hence the over-bridge was not safe for the people, he said. Other local residents, Susen Murmu and Sonu Kalindi too, echoed similar concern on public safety.
