Chandil: Safety norms are being openly flouted by various local construction agencies of Ichagarh and Tiruldih these days.
Many workers are found to be working without helmet, shoes and safety belts. A month ago a mishap involving a casualty had been reported in the Swarnarekha bridge.
Despite this, district administration authorities have not taken action against the erring agencies.
