Chandil: The block development officer of Chandil Pradip Bhagat today paid a visit to Chowka sub post office to take stock of the situation arising due to delay in payment to customers.
He had received a complaint regarding delay in payment of wages to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme workers.
He found out that the bank account of many workers had not been linked online. He said the payment procedure will be improved shortly.
