Jamshedpur, July 2: In a daring robbery, armed criminals raided the residence of ISWP DGM Mukesh Kumar Singh on Nildih Main Road, under the jurisdiction of Telco police station in Jamshedpur. They robbed Rs 10,000 in cash and a gold chain from Mukesh’s wife before firing shots in the air to intimidate her. The incident occurred late Monday night when Mukesh’s wife and son were away on errands.
According to reports, three to four criminals entered the house shortly after Mukesh’s wife and son returned between 10:30 and 11:00 pm. The criminals brandished a gun and demanded Rs 10,000 from his wife. Fearing for her safety, she complied. However, when the criminals noticed her gold chain, they demanded it as well. Despite her protest, the criminals fired shots in the air and escaped with the chain.
Upon receiving the report, Shailendra, the station in-charge of Telco police station, promptly arrived at the scene with his team to initiate an investigation. Currently, efforts are underway to apprehend all suspects involved, with assurances from the police that the perpetrators would be arrested soon.
