Chaitra Navratra to be celebrated in Tuiladungri

Jamshedpur: Sri Sri Shitla Mata Mandir at Tuiladungri is going to witness a grand celebration of Chaitra Navratra. Preparations for the festival are almost complete.
According to Dinesh Kumar, president of Shitla Mata temple committee, elaborate arrangements have been made for the upcoming event which would be held from 18th March to 25th March.

During the programme, 19 Jyoti Kalash would be lit up. The chief guest of the event would be the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato, Jharkhand Minority Commission vice president Gurdev Singh Raja and social worker Shiv Shankar Singh.

A group of bhajan singers from Chhatisgarh would also be performing during the event on a daily basis. They would sing jawara and jasgeet songs, said Kumar.

Kumar said a grand Shobha Yatra wouild be taken out on the ninth day of the festival. A special focus would be laid on cleanliness, he said.
