Jamshedpur: DAV Public School, Bistupur, hosted a Capacity Building Programme under the patronage of CBSE COE, aimed at in-service teachers. The workshop was designed to familiarize educators with various learning outcomes and pedagogies, enhancing their professional skills and teaching techniques.
The event began with the traditional DAV GAAN and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Pragya Singh, ARO, DAV Public Schools, Jharkhand Zone E, and Principal of DAV Public School, Bistupur, welcomed the resource persons and participants. She emphasized the importance of continuous learning, not only for academic excellence but for the holistic development of students.

The first interactive session, led by Mousumi Das, Principal of SDSM Centre for Academic Excellence, Jamshedpur, focused on defining learning outcomes, emphasizing student-centred goals. She explained how teachers could create a supportive school environment, incorporating Bloom’s Taxonomy to foster the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes among students.
In the second session, Paridhi Singh, Teacher Coordinator at Jamshedpur Public School, elaborated on how learning outcomes describe measurable skills and knowledge students should demonstrate. She also conducted interactive activities to showcase the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in classroom teaching.
The final session, led again by Mousumi Das, introduced a new approach to education that prioritizes each student’s learning needs. She advocated for pedagogical practices that ensure equal opportunities for all students in the teaching and learning process.
The Capacity Building Programme concluded with a positive outlook among the teachers, inspiring them to tackle challenges with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to student development.
