Bolero collides with three bikes and a scooter, four injured

Jamshedpur : A tragic accident unfolded near Bhuiandih Chowk, situated under the jurisdiction of the Sitaramdera police station, when a speeding Bolero collided with three motorcycles and a scooter before veering into a roadside drain. Following the accident, enraged locals confronted and assaulted the driver.

As a result of the collision, four individuals sustained injuries, necessitating their transportation to MGM Hospital for medical attention. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, affecting Achal Kumar, Shubham Singh, Manoj Kumar Rai, and Arvind Sharma, all residents of Bhalubasa. Notably, a police signboard was affixed to the Bolero.

In response to the situation, Bhushan Kumar, the incharge of the Sitaramdera police station, also arrived at the scene to inquire about the well-being of the injured parties. The car’s driver, Chandan Vishwakarma, was among those injured.

Achal Kumar, one of the injured victims, recounted that he and his friend Shubham were traveling from Mango to Bhalubasa when a Bolero traveling at high speed, approaching from Lakdi Tall, collided with them. The Bolero also struck a stationary motorcycle, a Bullet, and a scooter positioned by the roadside.

It is alleged that Chandan, the driver of the Bolero, was driving under the influence at the time of the accident. Presently, all the injured individuals are receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
