Jamshedpur, Oct 1: Police recovered the body of a middle-aged unidentified man from the banks of Swarnarekha river at Marine Drive, Sonari, on Saturday. The body was hanging from a tree. It was in a decomposed state. Local residents first noticed it and informed police who sent the same to MGM Medical College for postmortem examination.
According to Anjani Kumar, officer-in-charge of Sonari police station, “The man looks like 50 year old. We are yet to identify him. We have sought help from local residents and other police stations to get him identified soon.”
