Masters Athletics: Jharkhand honours national medal-winning women athletes

National-Level Performers Felicitated at Telco Officers Club

Jamshedpur, June 7: The Masters Athletics Association of Jharkhand organized a felicitation ceremony on Sunday at the Telco Officers Club to honour women athletes who brought pride to the state through their impressive performances at the national level.

The programme was presided over by Association President Vijay Singh, who presented mementos and certificates to the athletes. He praised their achievements and said their success was a matter of pride for Jharkhand. He also expressed confidence that the athletes would continue to perform well at national and international competitions in the future.

Addressing the gathering, General Secretary S.K. Tomar highlighted the strong performance of Jharkhand athletes at the 3rd Women’s National Masters Athletics Competition held in Goa. He said the Association organized the ceremony to recognize and encourage the athletes for their dedication and achievements.

Athletes honoured during the event included Pan Mani Mandi, N. Lalita Rao, Geeta Rani Hansda, and Dipika Das Roy for their outstanding performances in the championship.

Senior Association member R.P. Pandey was also present on the occasion. Congratulating the athletes, he said their achievements would inspire many other sportspersons across the state to work hard and excel in athletics.
