Jamshedpur, Feb 6: To strengthen its organizational structure and enhance coordination across Jamshedpur Mahanagar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed election officers for all mandals in the four assembly constituencies. This appointment comes as part of the party’s strategy to streamline election processes and improve the effectiveness of its operations in preparation for future electoral challenges. Each mandal will have two designated officers: one serving as the mandal election officer and the other as the co-election officer. The dual appointments aim to ensure smooth management and coordination at the grassroots level, providing the necessary leadership to oversee party activities, voter engagement and election-related tasks in the respective regions.
The announcement was made on Thursday through a letter issued by Biranchi Narayan, the district election supervisor and former MLA, along with Manoj Singh, the district election officer and state general secretary of BJP. According to the letter, the election officers and co-election officers for the mandals in various areas have been carefully selected based on their leadership capabilities and organizational expertise. For example, in Sakchi Purvi, Anil Modi has been appointed as the election officer, with Hemant Sahu serving as the co-election officer. Similarly, in Sitaramdera, Yogesh Malhotra and Ramesh Nag will handle the election duties, while Ramesh Hansda and Ramprakash Singh Ashok have been assigned to Baridih.
The appointments span across all key areas in Jamshedpur Mahanagar, including Birsanagar, where Devendra Singh and Boltu Sarkar will take charge and Telco, where Neeraj Singh and Hemant Singh have been selected. Golmuri’s election management will be overseen by Rajesh Shukla and Probir Chatterjee, while Pradeep Besra and Deepak Jha will serve in Burmamines. Other key regions, such as Sonari, Kadma and Bistupur, will have Jitendra Rai and Om Prakash Singh, Kalyani Sharan and Chittaranjan Verma and Rajan Singh and Rita Mishra, respectively, overseeing election processes. Additionally, leaders like Chandrashekhar Mishra and Shiv Prakash Sharma in Mango, Dinesh Kumar and Mohammad Nisar Ahmed in Azadnagar and Anil Singh and Ganga Prasad Sahu in Ulidih have been entrusted with the responsibility of managing election-related activities.
In a bid to further strengthen its organizational apparatus, the BJP has also appointed officials for other important mandals, including Bodam, Kamalpur, Patamda, MGM, Ghodabandha, Govindpur, Parsudih, Jugsalai, Kowali, Potka, Asanbani, Sundarnagar, Ghaghidih and Bagbeda. Each of these regions will see active involvement from local leaders such as Amit Agarwal and Banmali Banerjee in Bodam, Renu Sharma and Sandeep Mishra in Kamalpur, Sanjeev Sinha and Mantu Charan Dutta in Patamda and Gunjan Yadav and Sunil Mahato in MGM, among others.
This strategic move by BJP is seen as a crucial step in enhancing organizational reach and ensuring effective coordination at the mandal level, which is vital for the party’s electoral success.
