Diesel tanker overturns, catches fire on Ranchi-Tata NH-33; traffic disrupted

Ranchi, Feb 7: A major accident occurred on Ranchi-Tata National Highway 33 when a diesel-laden tanker lost balance and overturned on the road, causing a massive fire. The fire spread rapidly, resulting in long traffic jams on both sides of the highway.

Upon receiving the report, police and fire brigade personnel rushed to the scene. Controlling the fire proved challenging due to the highly flammable nature of the diesel. Multiple fire engines were deployed, and firefighters worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames.

Considering the severity of the situation, the administration temporarily closed the highway in both directions. Security personnel have been deployed to ensure safety, and traffic is being diverted through alternative routes.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far. Authorities have advised the public to avoid the area to prevent any untoward incidents.
