Jamshedpur, Dec 11: Musabani Block Development Officer (BDO) Seema Kumari visited Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ High School on Saturday late evening and inspected provisions for basic amenities to the boarders there. The BDO herself distributed blankets among the girls at the residential school but expressed her unhappiness with the hostel management because it had not adhered to the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner’s directives of providing basic amenities to the school’s residing students. Blankets were distributed from the Mosabani Block’s stock.
Musabani BDO Seema Kumari spoke to the girls and teachers present and observed, “It is the responsibility of teachers to inculcate among the students the qualities of discipline, ethics, morals and qualitative learning so that the students could become citizens of sound character and contribute towards community, region, state and nation building.”
Seema Kumari further stated, “The future of the country is determined from the school itself, and so, it is necessary that the teachers of the school should be of strong character that will enable students to consider their teacher as their ideal. An indelible impression should be left on the minds of students.” She told the girls that teachers should always be respected. A brief question-answer session was held during which the questions and replies by the students left the Musabani BDO highly impressed.
