Jamshedpur, September 8: On Sunday, Minister Banna Gupta laid the foundation stone for 185 development projects funded from the MLA fund. The total estimated cost of these schemes is ₹5,60,67,626. Of these, 138 projects are in the Mango Municipal Corporation area, with a budget of ₹3,23,71,426, while 47 projects in Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) jurisdiction have been budget for ₹2,36,96,200.
In his address, Gupta emphasized his priority of addressing local issues and improving the area. He highlighted that the focus would be on road widening, laying of pavers blocks, drain construction, and street lighting to manage the increased traffic load in Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency. The event was attended by MLA representatives, Congress workers, and departmental officials.
