Patna: In a significant development, a total of 97,000 school teachers in Bihar, including 94,000 selected through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) in the second phase, will be receiving ad-hoc appointment letters today. The distribution ceremony for the appointment letters will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar presiding over the event.
The ceremony will mark a key milestone, with 26,925 school teachers from 16 districts receiving their appointment letters during the main event.
Previously, on November 2, 2023, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had distributed appointment letters to teachers selected in the first phase of BPSC during a function at Gandhi Maidan.
