Jamshedpur, Feb 14: The 58th consecration day of Maa Rankini was celebrated by the Kadma Rankini Temple on Monday, February 14. Temple committee celebrates the day dedicated to Maa Rankini every year since 1964.
Consecration day of Maa Kali observed as an annual festival. On the occasion, rituals were performed as Goddess was worshipped. Later, underprivileged were offered food.
Apart from clothes (sari, dhoti), cash was also distributed among the devotees in the form of donation. President of the temple, Dilip Das and General Secretary, Janardan Pandey informed that vice president of the committee K.G. Govind, N. Kumar, Santosh Prasad, Ramkishore Singh, P.K. Singh, S. Ramesh, Deepak Biswas, Harbhajan Singh, Rajendra Jaiswal, Sanjay Kumar, Subhash and S Raja played important role in making the religious program successful.
