31 candidates from Jharkhand excel in UPSC exam

Jamshedpur, May 23: The UPSC examination results, announced on Tuesday have brought immense joy and pride to Jharkhand as more than 31 candidates from the state have achieved remarkable success. Among them, Rajlakshmi, a former student of Loyola School in Jamshedpur and current resident of Kanke Road, Ranchi, has emerged as the Jharkhand topper, securing an impressive rank in the prestigious examination. Utsav Anand from Deoghar has secured the second position, while Ravi Kumar from Giridih has attained the third position in the state.

Rajlakshmi, who completed her early education at Jamshedpur’s Loyola School, secured an All India rank of 25th. She pursued computer science in class 12th from RK Puram DPS in Delhi and subsequently joined BHU IIT in 2019. Rajlakshmi’s father, Anand Kumar, is an advocate in the Jharkhand High Court, and her mother, Preeti, serves in the Social Welfare Department at Ranchi Secretariat. Her exceptional achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and support from her family.

In this year’s UPSC examination, candidates from engineering backgrounds have prominently excelled. Utsav Anand, the second topper from Deoghar, secured an impressive All India rank of 26th. Ravi Kumar from Giridih secured the third position in Jharkhand, securing an admirable 38th rank. Namrata Choubey, hailing from Hoor village in Garhwa and an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, secured the fourth position in the state with an exceptional rank of 73rd. Ayush Venkat Vats from Deoghar secured the fifth position, attaining the 74th rank. The success of these candidates in the UPSC examination highlights their perseverance, dedication, and hard work. They serve as an inspiration for the youth of Jharkhand, demonstrating that with determination and commitment, one can achieve great heights in their chosen fields
