Jamshedpur’s Manish Bhardwaj secures 114th rank in UPSC Exam

Jamshedpur, May 23: The UPSC Civil Services examination results have been released, bringing joy and pride to the city as Manish Bhardwaj, a resident of Jamshedpur, secured an impressive 114th rank. His remarkable achievement has earned him a coveted position in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Manish Bhardwaj, the younger son of Kanti Sinha, the former principal of Bagunhatu Middle School, and Laxman Singh, a retired employee of Tata Steel UISL, resides at Baridih Vijaya Garden, Jamshedpur. With his dedication and hard work, Manish has emerged successful in the UPSC examination, becoming an inspiration for many aspiring civil servants.

The accomplished candidate, who is currently unmarried, hails from a family of achievers. His elder brother, Tarakeshwar Bhardwaj, serves as an auditor in DRDO and is happily married. Manish has two sisters who are settled abroad, with both working as engineers in Canada and Europe respectively.

Manish Bhardwaj completed his 11th standard education at DAV Public School, Bistupur and matriculated from St. Mary’s School Bistupur. He went on to obtain a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Bangalore. Initially, Manish worked in an organisation in Bangalore but decided to pursue a government job. He appeared for the railway job examination, securing the top position and subsequently joining as a Commercial Inspector at Dhamra Port.

Motivated by his aspirations, Manish continued his journey by taking the BPSC exam and successfully became the Deputy Collector in Hajipur, Bihar. While serving as a DCLR in Begusarai, he dedicatedly prepared for the UPSC Civil Services examination, which has now resulted in his outstanding success. Manish Bhardwaj’s achievement has brought great pride and joy to his family, who are elated by his accomplishment.
