2 nabbed over Jamshedpur murder

Jamshedpur, November 9: Kapali OP police of Seraikela district has cracked the Ragib murder case and arrested two accused.

The arrested accused include Mohd Wasim alias Channa Wasim, resident of Old Purulia Road No. 5 and Arman, resident of Golmuri Muslim Basti. The main accused in this case, Jishan, is still absconding. Police have not yet been able to recover the weapon used in the incident.

During interrogation, the accused told that there was a dispute with the youth of Kapali while bursting crackers in Karim City College.

On the evening of the incident, they had gone to assault the young man. Meanwhile, Ragib reached there to rescue him. Seeing the dispute escalating, Jishan took out his weapon and opened fire. The bullet hit Ragib and he got injured.

After the incident everyone fled from the spot. Here, in an injured condition, the family members took Ragib to MGM Hospital for treatment where after investigation he was declared dead.
