Cops in civil dress at Jamshedpur markets

Jamshedpur, November 9: People have started gathering in the markets due to the puja season. During this period, gangs of thieves also become very active. They take advantage of the crowd and commit theft.

Such gangs mostly target women. To prevent such crimes police will be deployed in plain clothes in all the crowded markets of the city like Sakchi, Bistupur and Jugsalai.

 Police will keep an eye on suspicious people at these places. SSP said that gangs coming from other states become very active during the Puja season. All police station in-charges have also been instructed to patrol their areas continuously.

 Apart from this, many vehicles are parked in no parking areas. This creates a jam situation on the road. Police will also take strict action against such vehicle owners.
