Jamshedpur, November 9. Divya Kumari, a resident of Kulpatanga Basti under RIT police station of Adityapur and a student of Jamshedpur Women’s University at Bistupur, is missing since Thursday morning.
In this regard, the student’s mother Reena Devi has lodged a written complaint at Bistupur police station. In his complaint it is told that her daughter had left for college in the morning. At around 11.20, his daughter Divya called and told that some boys were surrounding her near the Women’s College and they were saying that she was Tapan Singh’s daughter.
After this his daughter’s mobile was switched off. Despite much effort nothing could be found out. Reena Devi has appealed to the police to help find her daughter.
Reena Devi told that her husband Tapan Singh is a witness in the case of molestation of a girl. There was a dispute going on regarding this since before.
She has also written in the complaint that while checking around the college, some people told that her daughter was seen running on the road.
The police has started searching for the student.
