13 super zones set up for Holi, Eid and Ram Navami security in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: In preparation for the upcoming festivals of Holi, Eid ul Fitr and Ram Navami, authorities in East Singhbhum district have intensified law and order measures. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal have issued a joint security directive, ensuring strict vigilance from March 13 to April 8, 2025.

To facilitate effective security management, the district has been divided into 13 super zones. Each zone will have 13 Super Magistrates, eight senior police officers, 35 zonal magistrates and additional law enforcement personnel.

Additionally, the ADM (Law and Order) Aniket Sachan has been appointed overall in-charge of security operations, while Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) will oversee law and order in their respective sub-divisions.

DC-SSP Mittal and Kaushal have directed all Super Zonal Magistrates, Zonal Magistrates and Police Officers to work in close coordination and ensure that the district remains safe and peaceful during the festive period.

With this comprehensive security framework, the administration aims to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure that all celebrations proceed smoothly and without disruption.
