Jamshedpur, Mar 14: Two youths attacked a youth identified as Mohammed Shamim with a knife at Dhatkidih under Bistupur thana on Sunday afternoon and fled after people started gathering at the spot.
The injured youth was rushed to Tata Main Hospital for treatment. Bistupur police is probing into the crime and the two attackers are known to the youth and as per family members had come to call him from his house.
Despite being told by parents not to go with the youths, Mohammed Shamim went with the youths and after a while they got information about his being attacked with knife by the youths.
Locals say that the both the youths were drug addicts and might have stabbed him due to personal enimity.
