Labour dies at RamKrishna Forging plant near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, Mar 14: A resident of Chotalaka village in Chandil, Vinod Hansdah who was a labourer in Ramkrishna Forging Limited company in Kolebera under Seraikela thana died in a mishap inside the plant of the company on Sunday. 
However, the company management is tight lipped on mishap. However, according to sources, a heavy iron piece fell on Vinod while working which led to the fatal mishap. The injured labourer was rushed to Tata Main Hospital in a company ambulance. However, he died on the way to the hospital. Though the body was sent for post mortem at the Sadar Hospital in Seraikela. 
Sources said that the labourer are made to work without adhering to safety regulations which led to the mishap. 
Meanwhile, MP representative Sambhu Mandal has demanded that district administration should look into the regular mishap incidents inside the Ram Krishna Forging Limited plant and blamed that company management was not serious in ensuring safety of workers inside the plant. He also alleged that company managment also take work from labourers even on off days and demanded that district administration should consitute a high level committee to probe into the entire incident. He also demanded that next of the deceased worker should be given Rs 25 lakh as compensation and a job for the next of kins of the deceased otherwise they would stage dharna near the company’s gate.
