Jamshedpur: Jai Krishna Bhowmik, the 91-year-old father of Manoj Bhowmik, Secretary of the Youth Hostel Association of Jharkhand, passed away early Monday morning.
His untimely demise has left the local community in mourning.
Hundreds of people, including officials, officers, and executive members of the Youth Hostel Association of Jharkhand and its Jamshedpur Unit, gathered at his residence in Bada Govindpur to pay their respects and express their condolences.
Notable attendees included Manoj Bhowmik, General Secretary of the Youth Hostel Association of Jharkhand, Treasurer AV Narayan, Organization Secretary Naton Kumar Bose, Jamshedpur Unit Secretary Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Treasurer Avinash Kumar Jha, Joint Secretary Shyam Kumar Sharma, Organization Secretary Gopal Mahato, Bolai Das, and Devraj. They participated in the funeral procession to honor the late Jai Krishna Bhowmik.
