Jamshedpur, August 18: Rakesh Gupta, a resident of East Plant Basti, who was staying at Hotel Chandra in Sakchi, was found in a burnt condition. On getting the information, the hotel management took Rakesh to TMH for immediate treatment. There his condition remains critical. In this regard, Sakchi police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar told that he has not been given any kind of information.
According to locals, Rakesh Gupta was staying in room number 103 of the hotel along with Neera Das, a resident of Mayurbhanj, Odisha. He had stayed in this hotel earlier in the month of June also. Rakesh’s friends informed the hotel management about the incident over the phone at 5 am on Friday. After this, Rakesh was taken to TMH for treatment in an injured condition. It is said that August 15 was also Rakesh’s birthday. However, how Rakesh got burnt is being investigated.
