Jamshedpur, August 18: One and a half year old child of Bhuglu Besra, a resident of Putgadian Tola near Parulia village of Musabani police station area, drowned in an irrigation canal on Friday morning.
The child’s cousin Buddheshwar Mardi told that the people of the house had gone to the farm. The women were working in the house. He also went outside to play with the children. But did not know when the child fell into the irrigation drain while playing.
Later on investigation, it was found that it had fallen in the drain. He was immediately picked up and taken to Dumaria CHC. The doctor there sent him to Ghatshila sub-division hospital. Dr. Meera Murmu, the doctor of subdivision hospital declared the child dead after investigation.
