Youth employment first priority if JMM forms govt: Champai

Jamshedpur: Saraikela legislator Champai Soren while addressing a JMM meeting in the party office at Mahuldih village in Gamharia Block stated that if the party made a government in the state, the first priority would be to provide employment to the unemployed youth.

The legislator welcomed more than 50 youth who joined JMM today. Champai Soren said on the occasion that the BJP regime was fraught with joblessness, price inflation and corruption and the government was least bothered with these burning issues. The industrial slump has led to many lakh people being retrenched from their jobs. �Yet the government claims there is no recession, no joblessness, no price rise.  All the government has done is to create a long chain of unemployed youth who have been duped by the present lawmakers. Their dreams have been shattered and this is the reason why large numbers of youth, disillusioned by the BJP regime is joining JMM to create a BJP free Jharkhand.�

Soren further accused that the BJP government in the last five years had only spun illusions and dreams. He said, �All the so called development projects including the Kisan Ashirwad Yojna have become a curse for the people of the state and nation.� The program was presided by by senior JMM leader Moti Lal Pradhan.  More than 50 youth led by Jiten Sardar and including Prakash Tudu, Ravindra Kalindi, Jai Kalindi, Gurucharan Kalindi and others joined the JMM on the occasion.  Party executives present on the occasion were Avinash Soren, Simol Soren, Shivo Mandal, Gangadhar Mandal, Lalit Mahto, Mahesh Pramanik, Guru Prasad Mahto, Shankar Mahto and Nepal Mahto.
