XLRI to host ‘National Colloquium on School Education’ today

Jamshedpur, April 28: B-school XLRI and CeRTEL (Center for Excellence in Research, Teaching and Learning) will hold �Teach India; Reach India�: National Colloquium on School Education at the college campus in Jamshedpur on Saturday, April 29.

The inaugural session will be held at LH#37, Learning Centre- II, XLRI Campus where Mrs. Ruchi Narendran, Managing Trustee of Jusco Education Mission (JEM) Foundation will deliver the inaugural address. Dr. A. K. Pani, Dean (Academics), XLRI and other dignitaries will be present.

The day long colloquium will have four sessions. After the inaugural session ‘White Paper- Status of School Education Today will be presented by Dr. Sanjeev Varshney followed by CeRTEL: Work In Progress Report by Swastika Singh and Panel discussion- Lightening Sharing where each participant will speak for 8- 10 minutes.

The third session will boast of group discussions on future directions. In the concluding session new course ‘PG Certificate in Applied Educational Leadership and Management’ will be launched by Dr. Ram Kumar Kakani.

This will be followed by presentation of Break Away group findings and Valediction by Fr. Francis Peter will conclude the programme.
