Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi made tax free in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, April 28:The Jharkhand government has granted tax exemption to ‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi’ which chronicles the life of the late Gwalior royal and BJP leader Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia on screen.

Set against the backdrop of the Independence movement and the formation of states, the film is based on the book Rajpath Se Lokpath Par, penned by Goa Governor Mridula Sinha.

While actress-Parliamentarian Hema Malini plays the titular character, the cast of the long delayed film also includes Sachin Khedekar, Vinod Khanna and Aanjjan Srivastav.
