Jamshedpur, May 30: Tumpa Das, a 22 year old, committed suicide by hanging herself from a guava tree near her house. Tumpa, daughter of Musabani Gourpara resident Brihaspati Das committed suicide on Monday morning. People who noticed Tumpa hanging by a saree from a guava tree informed her family members. On receipt of information, the Mosabani police arrived at the spot and brought down the body and sent it for autopsy. According to information, Tumpa’s husband had died last year and she had been depressed since then and took the extreme step on Monday morning. A UD case has been registered in the police station on the statement of the father of the deceased.
