Warm sendoff for Std XII students at SDSM School for Excellence

Jamshedpur, Feb 10: S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized the Graduation Ceremony of Std XII students for the 2023-’24 batch.

The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Moushumi Das and Guests, Father D’Souza, Dr. Parineeta Shukla, Mikki Singh, and Mrs. Meena Bugli. Nitish Tiwari, ASPL, delivered the valedictory speech. Graduating students expressed their emotions. 193 students were honoured with mementos and certificates. Seven Special Awards were conferred to students who had shown their meritorious academic performances as well as active participation in other activities. Principal’s Awards were given to NitishTiwari, Amol Kumar Rai, and AdarshKumar of Class XII for their outstanding performance and exemplary behaviour.

Principal, Moushumi Das, in her address to the students, stated, “Lessons learnt in school will work as weapons in your life ahead and believe in Karma theory, that highlights  attitude of gratitude and emphasizes on being passionate in any work you do.”

The guests motivated students while quoting the words of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam whereby he observed that dreams turned into thoughts and thoughts turned into action. They urged the graduating students to work hard, be human centric, social and responsible citizens and wished them success for their future endeavors. The programme concluded with lighting of candles by the graduating students followed by the school anthem.
