Jamshedpur: A legal awareness camp was organized in Gobarghusi panchayat of Patamada under �Nyaya Aapke Dwar� programme of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) on Friday.
Judicial officers, advocates and paralegal volunteers participated in the event. Judicial magistrates SN Lamay and Vishal Gaurav contributed to the success of the camp.
The villagers were informed about various existing laws and their benefits in dealing with various social evils such as dowry system, child marriage, child labour, witch hunting and atrocities against women.
DLSA officials and paralegal volunteers appealed to the villagers to approach DLSA office in case they require legal remedy for any problem. Many villagers were present on the occasion.
Among others present on the occasion included Shiv Shankar Mahato, Mukhiya Khagendra Nath Singh and Nanda Rajak.
